In Italy, the culture of design is actually about the avant-garde movement. In the 1950s, it was promoted by a very small range of the talented businessmen who called themselves craftsmen, not businessmen at that time. These businessmen were actually some changers, mainly to change the Italian domestic post-industrial market, and to map it to our global market. In addition, they added and improved some of our domestic behaviors and needs to create a business environment after the Second World War. The modernity of Italy is actually developed under some very special historical conditions, and our original design is mainly from some practices of our handicraft, as well as the recollections of history.
