Wang Huiyao, Counselor of the State Council, Chairman of the Center for China and Globalization

Looking back on 40 years of reform and opening-up process, China's rapid economic development benefited from the "inviting in" policy to a certain extent, and the promoting of the Belt and Road Initiative indicates that China may go to a broader and more open areas in next decade, it means the arrival of China's export-oriented era, the "Belt and Road Initiative"  is exactly the watershed  of "inviting in" and "going abroad". The "Belt and Road Initiative" is a new type of effective global program; it is not a solo of China to create the "Belt and Road" international community, but a chorus of the whole world. The financial support  is not enough to build the "Belt and Road", it needs the world's major financial markets and financial institutions to participate in and provide a steady stream of capital support, the  implementation of the "Belt and Road Initiative" needs a breakthrough, for example, taking tourism as a breakthrough to encourage the countries along the "Belt and Road" to develop the tourism facilities such as tourist roads, parks, hotels, etc., to promote the "Belt and Road" industry cooperation.

China's investment in Eurasia is still facing difficulties
Liu Xuesong, Commerce Counselor of the Department of Eurasian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of China

At present, China's investment in Eurasian countries is still facing difficulties. For example, the investment environment is complicated; most of countries rely heavily on preferential loan assistance of China. China is facing the competition of overseas enterprises from EU, Japan and Turkey in Europe and Asia. Under this background, domestic enterprises not only should seize the opportunity to accumulate international cooperation experience, but also need to enhance their own business management level at the same time, so as to effectively solve the current problems of domestic low value-added export products and low brand awareness, so as to capture more opportunities for international cooperation.
