On September 19, the 4-day World Winter Sports Beijing Expo 2018 kicked off at China National Convention Center. Themed at the "strength of ice and snow", this session presented the latest experience and achievements of the global ice and snow industry through integrating 8 major exhibition sections and in the form of the main forum + parallel forums and exhibitions.
According to the sponsor, this session, themed at the "strength of ice and snow", held summit forums, exhibitions & displays, industrial connection activities and special events. This session had 9 highlights, including continuous cooperation with the guest of honor (Austria in 2018), Olympic City Forum, the launch of the International Ice and Snow Think Tank Project, the strengthening of the "Belt and Road" theme, promoting the demonstration of snow products, the establishment of the International Ice and Snow Media Alliance, the establishment of special negotiation area for e-commerce partners and online business matching. Besides, over 10 international forums, industry conferences and several rounds of negotiation and trading activities were also held.
According to information, this session had some new changes compared with the two previous sessions. It is reported that as the largest winter expo, this session provided a 30,000 square meters exhibition area for over 500 exhibition brands and over 9,000 distributors from all over the world and was held in 8 zones, including the Winter Olympics Theme Exhibition Zone, national and regional exhibition pavilions, field construction and facilities, personal clothing equipment, winter tourism destinations, winter sports culture and interactive experience zone.
In addition, winter and high-mountain technologies, roller skating and dry skiing, personal equipment and surroundings, field equipment, ice wagons, winter tourism destinations and winter sports culture were also exhibited, systematically demonstrating the cutting-edge ice and snow technology, equipment, IP events, winter sports tourism, winter sports education and other industry outcomes.
