Beijing Trade Mission Joined in the 1st China International Import Expo

The 1st China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off on the 5th at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). 26 business missions headed by Beijing Trade Mission attended the expo for negotiation and exhibition. Beijing Trade Mission, trade missions sub-groups and procurement enterprises have arrived in Shanghai in succession. The working groups of comprehensive coordination, on-site activity, publicity and report, transaction statistics, logistics services and security guarantees are working in an orderly manner.


On the morning of the 6th, Beijing Trade Mission will organize the policy interpretation, project launch and signing activities themed at "Beijing’s Opening-up, Unlimited Business Opportunities - Sharing Beijing's High-end Development Market Opportunities", center on policy interpretation, transaction promotion and project contract signing and make intensive efforts to publicize and promote policies of Beijing to further open up, deepen the innovative development pilots of trade in services, develop high-grade, precision and advanced industries and make innovations in finance; stress the holding of Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games and the launch of Beijing Daxing International Airport and other procurement projects with the characteristics of Beijing; organize contract signing of 11 projects between JD Group and Dell Company, and between Beijing Xinfadi Agricultural Products E-Commerce Center Co., Ltd. and Thai-Chinese SME Commercial Association, and South Africa-China Cross-border E-commerce Association.

On the afternoon of the 6th, the trade mission of Chaoyang District will hold an activity themed at "Optimizing the Business Environment, Strengthening Economic and Trade Cooperation and Sharing Opening-up Achievements". On the occasion, 100 representatives from Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, departments of Chaoyang District and major enterprises will be present and the signing ceremony of three projects will be held. The medical devices and medical supplies sub-group of the trade mission will also organize medical and health institutions and pharmaceutical companies to enter into contracts with key exhibitors such as Philips, GE and Siemens.

During the expo, Beijing Trade Mission will take the initiative to organize purchasers to participate in various policy interpretation meetings, new product launches, trade fairs, industry docking fairs, procurement demand launching, signing ceremony and other on-site activities and take firm hold of this major opportunity to expedite the high-quality development of Beijing.
