The TCM trade in services contract amount exceeds 2 billion yuan in 2019 CIFTIS

On the TCM Service Theme Day Opening Ceremony and the 4th Chinese Overseas TCM Conference held during the 2019 CIFTIS, Luo Zenggang, Deputy Director of Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, expressed in an exclusive interview with reporters that the TCM trade in services contract amount exceeds 2 billion yuan in this CIFTIS, which can be attributed to the constant integration of "technology" and TCM service.

 

 

In Luo's view, "technology" is the key word for the TCM sector of this CIFTIS. Beijing CAS Zhongke Xinjian Medical Technology Co., Ltd. has signed and entered into contracts with Indonesia and other countries with a contract value of about 2 billion yuan.

 

On the conference, Beijing CAS Zhongke Xinjian Medical Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Global Federation of Indonesian Overseas Chinese and Hungary Skala Investment Enterprise Group, with a contract value of about 2 billion yuan. The three parties will cooperate to carry out the standardization of the TCM industry, and promote the breakthrough in and application of cutting-edge technologies of TCM. Subsequently, Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences concluded a contract with Hokkaido Ohno Memorial Hospital, Kyoundo Hospital Affiliated to Japanese Sasaki Research Institute and Boshi Remote Medical Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., with a contract value of about 110 million yuan. And the four parties will work on to make contributions to the remote medical treatment of TCM. The World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies also has entered into cooperative relations with representatives from Peru, Belgium and Angola. The parties concerned will cooperate to regulate the TCM trade in service market to enhance the service level and quality of TCM trade in service.

 

According to the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, so far, the TCM has spread to 183 countries and regions. China has signed special cooperation agreements with more than 40 foreign governments, regional authorities and international organizations.
