Increment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones, the CIFTIS paying close attention to "Silk Road E-commerce"

The other day the State Council approved the establishment of cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones in 24 cities, including Shijiazhuang. The State Council requires that the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones adhere to the new development concept, continue to deepen the reform of "streamlining administration, delegating more powers to lower-level governments and society, improving regulation and optimizing services", actively adapt to the new trend of industrial revolution, replicate and promote the mature experience and practices of the first three batches of comprehensive pilot zones, pilot VAT, consumption tax exemption and other related policies for cross-border e-commerce retail export, actively explore new experience and practices for the sound development of cross-border e-commerce across China through innovation, and advance high-quality development of trade.

The 2019 CIFTIS was held in Beijing from May 28 to June 1, during which the "2019 China E-commerce Convention Sub-forum III - Cross-border E-commerce" was specially held with the theme of "Win-win Opening-up, Global Innovation". In-depth exchanges were carried out centering on hot topics such as brand going abroad strategy, cross-border e-commerce supply chain and industrial chain on the forum, to study how to promote the innovative development of cross-border e-commerce and promote economic globalization and trade facilitation under the new situation of world trade.
