We all know that traditional Chinese medicine is the treasure of the Chinese Nation and a crystallization of our civilization more than 5,000 years. The development of traditional Chinese medicine has become the strategy of our country. The traditional Chinese medicine is entering a new historical development period. Especially in 2015, the invention of Artemisinin developed by TuYouyou and her team won the Nobel Prize after 40 years, which encouraged colleagues in the field of Traditional Chinese medicine at home and aboard. Chinese Acupuncture has been included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, UNESCO. Herbal Medicine of the World and the Yellow Emperor's Canon of Internal Medicinehave been included in Memory of the World Register. The International Organization for Standardization established the Technical Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and formulated and promulgated more than 10 international standards of traditional Chinese medicine successively. The traditional medicine represented by traditional Chinese medicine was included in the Disease Classification Code of the World Health Organization for the first time. With the starting of the "Belt and Road Initiative", traditional Chinese medicine has been spread to 183 countries and regions in the world currently. China has signed 86 cooperation agreements of traditional Chinese medicine with foreign governments and international organizations, established 31 overseas centers of traditional Chinese medicine in the countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative", and set up several hundreds of schools of traditional Chinese medicine in more than 30 countries and regions.
